| This hammered dulcimer has only one treble bridge. Its simple design makes it less intimidating than a full size instrument to a beginner player. It plays in the treble range with C# above middle C being the lowest note. Will play two octives starting on D. Keys of D,G and C work well. The top and bottom frame are made of a 2x4 wood with a 1/2" laminated soundboard all painted in a gloss black. The rest of the instrument is a hard maple and left a natural color to provide a nice contrast! A very nice sound! |
